Appointments

There are several ways to get the medical advice you need. We offer face to face appointments and advice via an online consultation (eConsult).

If you are unwell and need to be seen the same day, please contact the practice. One of our doctors will discuss your condition with you and advise accordingly. If appropriate, the GP will arrange an urgent appointment for the same day.

Appointments are available throughout the day during our opening hours. Please select one of the below appointment types, to get the best suited help on time.

What are the timings for routine appointments?

Appointments are available throughout the day during normal opening hours.

Does the practice offer routine appointments on weekday evenings and on weekends?

Both of our GPS work extended hours on a Monday evening , and our nurse does an early morning clinic on a Tuesday morning.

In addition to our opening times we have evening and weekend appointments available for our patients at St Marks Hospital, Maidenhead SL6 6DU and King Edward VII Hospital, Windsor SL4 3DP.

Mon-Fri 18.45 - 21.00 | Sat 09.15 – 16.30 | Sun 09.15 – 13.00

King Edward VII Hospital is closed on Sundays for extended access.

Telephone consultations

If you want to speak to a GP, telephone the surgery and the receptionist will advise you of a convenient time to call back or they will take your details and ask the GP to call you, however any emergency will be put through to the GP immediately or as soon as possible.

When a GP is on holiday and unable to do their clinic in the evening or early morning there will be a telephone triage system in place to cover that time. If you require a telephone consultation by the on call GP please contact the surgery in advance. The surgery uses regular Locums whenever possible to ensure continuous care to our patients.

Chaperones

If you would like a chaperone to be present during an intimate physical examination, please let us know.

We have specially trained staff members who are trained in this regard, if they are not available at the time of your appointment, you may need to re book your appointment.

St Mark’s and Upton Hospital Slough are closed as a Walk in Centre due to the pandemic.

St Marks Hospital, St Marks Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire,SL6 6DU.

Brants Bridge Bracknell is available to Maidenhead patients as a walk in Minor Injuries Centre 8am to 1pm for injuries such as sprains and strains, cuts and grazes, bites and stings, skin infections, minor head injuries, Minor suspected breaks or fractures. Note: No X Ray facilities on Saturdays.
